“Out Of The Soil” was written and produced to commemorate the University of Arkansas’ 150 Year Anniversary. As the university celebrates its sesquicentennial, it also celebrates the many figures in the school’s history who moved the university forward to create a more diverse, equitable and inclusive campus.

The Black Vote: Voices
Voices was written and produced in partnership with DAYVISION for their making of the short film, “The Black Vote”, where four friends sit and discuss the power of voting and activism in the Black community. Voices is a motivational narrative, elevating the voices of past civil rights pioneers and modern day cultural influences, encouraging the black community to raise our collective voices to continue the fight for justice, equality, equity, and access.

Navigating the Workplace during Uncertain Times
Black Young Professionals find themselves battling a double pandemic in society, while still needing to perform at work as if nothing is wrong. Following the murder of George Floyd, this lunch and learn provided resources and guidance to black young professionals navigating their work space amid social unrest.

Petition & Protest
A petition is circulating in Fayetteville by community members who want the Bikes, Blues and Barbecue leadership to condemn and discourage the brandishing of the Confederate flag, and is now calling for a community boycott of the event. - See the project that created the hashtag: #BuildCommunityThroughLove.

The Northwest Arkansas Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Council and the University of Arkansas will honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. this weekend with its 24th annual holiday celebration of the civil rights leader. The featured speaker is Dr. Joseph Daniels. This event is sponsored by the Black Students Association and the Associated Student Government of the University of Arkansas.

Tower of Old Main - Acknowledging Pioneers
Private philanthropy becomes more significant with each passing year. The Towers of Old Main giving society is for the university's most generous benefactors with cumulative giving of $100,000 or more. They are personally invited by the chancellor to join the prestigious society and are recognized during a Towers of Old Main celebration.
